Gifts in Wills

A Will is a good way to plan for the needs of your family and loved ones.

A legacy is a donation left to a charity in your Will. It is a lasting gift, so the causes you feel passionate about in life can continue long info the future.

Leaving a gift in your Will is a way you can support us, even if you are unable to donate at this time.

What your gift could achieve

Leaving a gift to us can make a vital difference to those whose lives have often been turned upside-down by having to look after the ones they love. You can help make sure that in this future of financial cuts and increasing numbers of carers, help will still be available for them. Already most of our support for young carers is charitably funded.

How to leave a legacy?

It’s easy to include a gift to Caring Together in your Will or amend an existing Will using a codicil, but you should always consult a professional, such as a solicitor or professional Will writing service to be sure your Will reflects your exact intentions and you understand tax implications.

Your advisor will need our charity name, address and registered charity number.

Suggested wording is:

“I will give £…… to

Caring Together Charity
(known as Caring Together)

Caring Together, L D H House, Parsons Green, St Ives, Cambridgeshire, PE27 4AA

Registered Charity No. 1091522

for its general charitable purposes.”

If you have already written us into your Will, we’re very grateful and would love it if you could let us know as it helps future planning.
