Parent carer online workshop – Introduction to the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards

Parent carers often tell us that they would like to know more about the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and how this may affect their young person or in their role as a parent caring for an adult. This workshop will give you all the information you need and an opportunity to ask Q&A to clarify any concerns that parent/carers may wish to raise. The workshop will also look at the deprivation of Liberty Standards and how this works in practice.

This workshop will be of interest to all parent/carers of young adults aged 16 and above. (Or those approaching adult services)

This is a FREE event for all parent carers living within Cambridgeshire & Peterborough
