Our community engagement team’s key focus is to develop strong relationships with organisations that will help increase awareness and support for carers, their families, and the work of Caring Together as a charity.
Jill, carer awareness and voice coordinator and Belinda, carer awareness and voice team leader, talk about a typical day in the engagement team, how their work makes a difference to carers and why they enjoy working for Caring Together.
Jill said, “Last week I delivered training to junior nurses that have just started working at Addenbrookes hospital. I worked with an employer that was looking to provide better support to carers in their workforce. So yes, a busy week.”
