Consultation on the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy for Cambridgeshire & Peterborough

3rd March 20

The draft strategy outlines Cambridgeshire Council Council’s and Peterborough City Council’s priorities and how local councils, the NHS and community organisations would like to work together to improve people’s health and reduce health inequalities that exist across the area.

The strategy is one of the key responsibilities of both the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Health and Wellbeing Boards who are working jointly to improve the health outcomes of local communities. The Health and Wellbeing Board is the place where politicians, health and social care professionals and other leaders across the system work together to improve the health and wellbeing of local communities.

Communities we live in are fundamental to our health. Playing a role in improving health and taking a ‘Think Communities approach’, it is your chance to have to have your say and help to shape a strategy that can help meet future challenges to health and wellbeing that Cambridgeshire and Peterborough face, from climate change to the lifestyles we lead.
