Technology Enabled Care Services (TECS) uses and provides a range of technology, including lifelines, to support people and their carers to address challenges to everyday living. TECS works closely with colleagues across other services to manage risks and support informed decision making and TECS can assist with many situations; medication management, falls alerts, activity mapping, night walking, epilepsy and various prompts and reminders. Service aims include:
- Prevent, reduce and delay the need for formal care services.
- Support informal carers.
- Help communities build resilience.
- Anyone can refer to the TECS team if they think that they can help. TECS also provides advice, guidance and training to professionals.
