Do you care for a family member or friend living with dementia?

The Alzheimer’s Society in Peterborough has a range of activities and information sessions for people caring for a family member or friend living with dementia.

There are also weekly activities for the person living with dementia, such as singing, crafts and exercise sessions.

The information and support sessions for carers take place at the Dementia Resource Centre, 5 York Road, Millfield, Peterborough, PE1 3BP.

  • Drop in carers information and advice sessions are held on the last Wednesday of every month. The next session will be on Wednesday 30 March. You can drop in anytime between 10.30am until 12 noon. You will be able to receive information and advice from various local organisations, including Caring Together and Age UK.
  • Weekly open peer support carers group – next group is on Tuesday 22 March and then Tuesday 29 March, 2.00pm – 3.00pm. You are welcome to go along for peer support, advice and a cuppa! Booking is required for this group.
