Use your caring experience to improve services for everyone

10th December 21

Are you a family carer who could use your experience to speak up and improve services for others? Healthwatch Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is searching for local carers who can give a few hours to make a difference with the Carers’ Partnership Board.

The board works with local councils to improve social care services across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. You may be new to caring or can share what you know about caring for an elderly loved one, someone with dementia, mental ill health or an additional need or disability.

You don’t need to attend every meeting – it’s really flexible. And Healthwatch will support you to share your experiences and have your say about local services for you and the person you care for. Carers from any part of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are welcome to get involved.

If you would like to know more, contact Graham Lewis, partnership development manager at [email protected] or on 07432 865996. You can also see healthwatchcambridgeshire.co.uk/independent-member
