UEA research for carers – looking for participants

29th June 21

Research at the University of East Anglia (UEA) is being conducted into the experiences of carers looking after a family member of friend, supporting someone with swallowing difficulties and dementia to drink well. This research project is being overseen the School of Health Sciences at UEA.

They are recruiting participants to share your views and experiences for the study. The purpose of the study is to find out about family carers or friends experiences of supporting someone with a formal diagnosis of dementia and swallowing difficulties to drink well on a daily basis. By conducting this research, it will help to understand about these experiences and may help identify the kinds of support that could  be developed to help in the future.
