Frieda was struggling to cope with looking after her husband Colin, who had Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia.
But with the support of our care professionals she was able to continue to care for Colin at home until he sadly died. Our support was a huge relief for Freida, who had reached crisis point. She said, “It didn’t feel the whole weight was on my shoulders. I knew there would be someone there in the morning.”
