The Bobby Scheme was set up by the Cambridgeshire Police Shrievalty Trust to help older and vulnerable people feel safer in their own homes by improving home security. Bobbies fit door chains, window and door alarms and other security devices as well as providing security advice and reassurance. If you are a victim of crime aged 60 years or over or of any age suffering domestic violence, the service is free. If you are 65 years or over, disabled or vulnerable they provide the same service but ask for a contribution towards the costs if possible. Keysafes can also be supplied and fitted. Please telephone to request a visit.
