Bild have launched two new qualifications in Positive Behaviour Support, with a free places available. These places are for people who care for family members or carers who are employed directly by the person they support.
The materials and resources are online and activities can be completed at times that work for the carer, and there are small supportive online tutorial groups to discuss and reflect on activities.
The qualification offered is a Certificate (level 4) in Positive Behaviour Support for people who provide direct support and a Diploma (level 5) in Practice Leadership of Positive Behaviour Support for practice leaders who work alongside colleagues who provide direct support.
The units include online self-directed activities (eg webinars, films, reading, interactive activities), and practice-based activities

Registration is on a first come, first serve basis (subject to eligibility criteria). Deadlines for applications is 9am, Monday 5 October, 2020. The course will start on Monday 19 October, 2020.
