We are delighted to announce Harris & Hoole Café at Tesco Huntingdon on Abbots Ripton Road, have kindly set up a Christmas giving tree to collect donated items for our young carers to make their own Christmas hampers.
There are suggested gift ideas on signs in the café that people can then buy and drop off in the trolley. These gifts will then be given to young carers.
Santa’s shopping list for young carers includes:
- Books for all ages from 5-18 years
- Socks for ages 5-18 years
- Card games
- Colouring pencils and pens
- Other stationery
- Lego
- Toiletries for teenage girls & boys
- Small soft toys
- Hair accessories
- Chocolate coins
- Small footballs
- Marbles
- Scarves
- Vouchers (i.e. Netflix, Amazon, etc)
Simply leave your chosen donation in the festive trolley by the tree in the café. We are incredibly grateful for any contributions to make a difference to young carers in the local community.
