    Donate items to our shop

Charity shop donations including tea/coffee/sugar jars, a box of clothes and a Connect 4 gameEvery donation to our charity shop is so much more than a pre-loved item. It’s a gift of support to an unpaid carer who may be facing each day with little time or energy for themselves.

The money raised helps us provide vital advice and information, and practical and emotional support to people who give so much to those they care for.

Your kindness can help a carer feel less alone and remind them that they are valued and cared for too.

Thank you for giving your unwanted items a new life and helping us make a real difference to carers in our community.

Items can be dropped off at:

    • The Charity Shop at 61 High Street, King’s Lynn (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm)
    • Our St Ives office (Mondays and Wednesdays, 9am-4pm)
    • Our Swaffham office (Wednesdays, 9am-12pm)

Our shop is conveniently located next to Marks & Spencer and near the Tuesday Market car park. We also have parking available at both of our offices.

Please do not leave donations outside when we are closed as we cannot prevent them being ruined by rain, animals or being scattered across the street, and we will have to pay to dispose of them.

Below is a list of just some of the items that we would be pleased to accept.
If you are unsure, please check this in advance or speak to our staff in the shop before dropping anything off.

    Items you can donate include

    • Good quality men’s, women’s and children’s clothing
    • Good quality accessories including shoes, belts, handbags and jewellery
    • Quality homeware – anything from cushions to crockery
    • Linens in good condition
    • Toys and games in good condition
    • Small electricals in good working order
    • Gift bags in good condition and unused wrapping paper
    • New toiletries and cosmetics, candles, gift sets and stationery
    • Unwanted gifts. (Please check our Items you can’t donate list first).

    Items you can’t donate

While we appreciate all donations, there are some we cannot sell and we have to pay for their disposal.

    • Furniture
    • Bicycles
    • Baby/child car seats
    • Safety equipment
    • Knives, sharps or weapons
    • Large items of furniture and white goods, e.g. washing machines, cookers.

Please see the full list of items we can’t accept.
