Maxine Lester have made a generous donation of almost £3,000 to Caring Together Charity to help the charity’s important work supporting young carers.
The amazing total was raised by the St Ives-based letting and property management agency thanks to their recent festive appeal.
For the last few years, the Maxine Lester team have made fun-filled festive films to raise awareness of Caring Together’s work and support the work of the charity to help young carers looking after family members with disabilities or long-term illness.
They surpassed themselves this time around with their side-splitting video parody of the Village People classic YMCA!
Caring Together Charity’s Senior Fundraising Manager Laura Price commented: “We are thrilled with this fantastic donation from Maxine Lester and thank them hugely for their support with their Christmas fundraising campaign.
“The Maxine Lester festive film is always a real treat and their team excelled themselves with their hilarious take on YMCA this year!
“Their donation helps us take young carers on fun days out, where they can have a break from looking after a sibling or parent, and have the chance to enjoy exciting activities and create wonderful memories.”
