Carers – Have your say on the proposed Cambridge congestion charge

Making Connections 2022 – a Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP) consultation on proposals to transform the way people travel in, out and around Greater Cambridge is now open.

The GCP have opened a consultation to hear views on changes which they propose will create faster, cheaper, more reliable bus services running from earlier in the day to later at night, as well as more investment in better walking and cycling routes.

We believe the proposed changes could have a big impact on unpaid carers, many of whom already face significant financial pressures. We want to ensure that you have your voice heard, raise concerns and ask questions that matter to you, your family and your support network.

We have therefore worked with the organisation leading the consultation on this project to arrange a consultation session for unpaid carers and carer support organisations.

The session will give you the chance to hear more about the proposals, ask questions and raise any concerns you might have.
