Listening Books is a UK charity providing an audiobook lending service to children and adults who cannot read or hold a book due to illness, disability, learning or mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression.
There are over 10,000 fantastic titles in the collection to choose from – including bestselling novels and autobiographies, groundbreaking non-fiction and books to improve wellbeing. Younger members can access a wide range of titles to support learning and schoolwork, such as set texts and study guides. Thousands of audio newspapers and magazines from around the world are also included at no additional cost.
Membership costs between £20 and £45 for a years membership, but free membership is also available for anyone that would find this fee a barrier to joining.
