Huntingdonshire Aphasia Support

The group offers informal social support to those affected by aphasia and their carers. The communication disability, aphasia, can occur after a stroke, head injury or trauma, or neurological illnesses such as MS, MD, or Parkinson’s.

The group meets on the second Tuesday of the month, usually at the Medway Centre, Huntingdon, from 1.30pm-4.00pm. Every third month they go out to local venues for a lunch or tea together.

At the Medway Centre the group enjoy a variety of speakers, musical afternoons, or games and quizzes. Potential members or volunteers are welcome to contact them for more information.
