Ely Community Cinema is based at The Maltings in Ely.
The cinema is run almost entirely by volunteers and shows world, arthouse and indie cinema, i.e. films that are less easy to see locally. Sadly, The Maltings doesn’t have the equipment for audio description or induction loops, but they do show quite a lot of subtitled films.
They accept CEA cards (https://www.ceacard.co.uk for more information) so cardholders who buy a ticket can bring a carer to see a film for no extra charge. You can use your card in person at the box office, or on their website if you’d like to book your tickets in advance.
