The Green End Day Club aims to bring together members of the community looking for a regular day of friendship, food and fun. With them, members can find company, activities and companionship.
They meet from Monday to Thursday, 10.00am-2.00pm in the CARESCO Centre in Sawtry.
Members are offered transport to the centre using a dedicated minibus with a ramp. Arrival times can be flexible if making your own way into the club. Drinks are available throughout the day and there is a freshly prepared two-course meal at midday. The activities provided include crafts, quizzes, bingo and raffles, outside entertainment and occasional outings. There is an attendance fee of £8.50 per person per session at the club to help cover the running costs of providing the service including refreshments, lunch and transport. Referrals can be accepted from individuals, family members, or partner agencies in the local area such as GPs. They welcome residents from Sawtry and the surrounding villages.
