Bipolar UK is a national charity dedicated to supporting individuals with the much misunderstood and devastating condition of bipolar, and their families and carers. They provide a range of support services for individuals affected by bipolar including information, support & advice, a national network of support groups (over 80 across England, Wales and Northern Ireland), eCommunity (a moderated 24/7 web-based peer support forum), and employment service. Services can be accessed from anywhere in the UK. In Cambridgeshire there are two support groups:
Cambridge group
Meets at: Horizon Resource Centre, Coldhams Lane, Cambridge CB1 3HY On: Fourth Monday of every month (except August) Time: 7.30pm
Huntingdon group
Meets at: Maple Centre, 6 Oak Drive, Huntingdon PE29 7HN On: First Wednesday of every month Time: 2pm-4pm Bipolar UK support groups offer:

- Guidance on managing mood swings.
Group meetings are friendly, confidential and informal. They are open to all individuals affected by bipolar, including those with a diagnosis, those pre- diagnosis, their family members, friends and carers. No need to book – just turn up!
