Help shape the future for unpaid carers

Caring Together Charity is looking to strengthen its Board with new Trustees to help deliver our ambitious 2026–29 strategy.

Our vision is: No carer in crisis, isolated or struggling alone and we are looking for people who can bring their experience, perspective and expertise to our Board to help us turn this ambition into action.

We are particularly keen to hear from people with experience in:

  • Charity retail
  • Marketing and communications
  • Adult social care
  • Digital and AI
  • Young carers and services for children and young people

but you don’t need previous Trustee experience. We welcome people who are new to Board roles as well as experienced Trustees, and value the different perspectives this brings.

As part of our Board, you’ll work alongside our dedicated staff team to shape strategy, provide effective governance and help ensure our resources have the greatest possible impact for carers across our communities.

The role is unpaid, with reasonable expenses reimbursed and the commitment is around 12 days a year, including attendance at Board and committee meetings which are usually held at our St Ives office, with the option for online attendance if required.

If you’re passionate about making a positive difference for unpaid carers and can bring skills, experience and perspective that will strengthen our Board, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
