Healthcare

Healthcare

If you work in healthcare you can make a huge difference to people who are looking after a family member or friend.

You being able to recognise carers and help them get the support they need will benefit them and their health, and the health of the person they look after for.

We have resources you can use so unpaid carers know how to contact us for support. We can also provide awareness sessions so you and your team know how to recognise and support carers.

If you want to find out more, please do get in touch to talk through how we can help you.

Free resources for you to use

We have resources available for use by you in your healthcare setting. These can help unpaid carers realise they are a carer, and know how to get the support they need.

If you would like to request free resources such as posters and leaflets giving information on our support for carers, please click here

Carer awareness sessions

We offer carer awareness sessions which provide information about how to support people looking after a family member or friend who is ill or disabled. Contact us to find out about holding a session in your healthcare setting.
