Salary £23,690 fulltime equivalent
Hours 30 hours per week
Accountable to Awareness and voice team leader
Based Hybrid worker with days to be worked in the office and at home as agreed with line manager, with frequent travel across Cambridgeshire and occasional travel across our region as required.

About the role

Working within our small and friendly community engagement team, your key focus will be to develop strong relationships with organisations that will help increase awareness and support for carers, their families, and the work of Caring Together as a charity.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of proactively building strong working relationships, with a diverse variety of communities and organisations, and be comfortable in delivering presentations.

Key accountabilities of the role

  • Work closely with colleagues to develop partnerships with organisations that are mutually beneficial to Caring Together, to support carers and help to identify opportunities for funding and any other opportunities of benefit to Caring Together and the carers we support.
  • Generate leads to engage new community organisations and corporates with the work of Caring Together and the issues facing carers
  • Co-ordinate and deliver a programme of high-quality carer awareness-raising talks, presentations and interactive workshops to raise awareness of carers and their needs/challenges.
  • Encourage and support organisations to improve their ability to identify and provide support to carers within their industry sector.
