Helping to give carers in Norfolk a break
If you would like to be part of a team, made up of professional care workers and volunteers that make it possible for carers in Norfolk to have a break, we want to hear from you.
The support given to the carer can range from wellbeing support (having a chat and a cup of tea), shopping, cleaning, gardening or accompanying them on trips.
This may be done alongside regulated care provided by our paid care workers or may be supporting in ways where the involvement of professional care workers is not needed.
This volunteer role is available from 1 September.
You will need an enhanced DBS check for this role (cost covered by Caring Together).
If you think this opportunity could be for you, please call Annie on 01480 499090 or email [email protected]
Caring Together is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults and children and expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
We are inclusive. We celebrate multiple approaches and points of view. We are an equal opportunities employer and expect staff and volunteers to respect the personal choice and lifestyles of colleagues, carers, and people with care needs.
