The Social Car Scheme provides volunteer drivers to passengers who have essential journeys to make but do not have access to their own or public transport. Essential journeys will be linked to appointments to hospitals, dentists, or doctors surgeries. The passenger pays 40p per mile, there is a minimum charge of £6.00.
