There are many different caring situations. Individual and caring needs change depending on your circumstances. To continue caring, carers’ physical and mental health and wellbeing is crucial. Access to relevant information and support makes being a carer more manageable. There are lots of good groups, services, and support available in Cambridgeshire but not everyone knows what is out there or how to access it. Community Navigators is the universal information and advice service for adults in Cambridgeshire. The service has been running for eight years, and they have helped thousands of people. You might just need a simple contact number, or you may need to sit down and talk though your circumstances and decide what to tackle first. The service is free and they can help with any information you need if you are

  • An older person
  • A carer
  • An adult 18+ and affected by learning disability, autism, physical disability, sensory impairment, mental health need or HIV/AIDS.

If you have low to moderate anxiety and/or depression, their wellbeing service offers additional support to access the service and take that first step.
